Start with your actual departure point
Write down the airport named on your ticket and the address of your accommodation. Arriving at Essaouira-Mogador and arriving at Marrakech require different plans. If you are already staying in Marrakech, use your accommodation as the starting point instead of automatically following an airport itinerary.
Separate the journey into three stages: reaching your chosen transport, completing the main journey and getting from the drop-off point to your accommodation. Keep all three addresses on your phone, together with a contact you can reach on arrival. This article offers planning guidance; it does not describe a transfer tested by Essaouira.guide.
After landing at Essaouira-Mogador
Consult ONDA’s airport information and call centre, then confirm transport for your arrival date and time. We do not quote an unverified taxi fare, shuttle frequency or round-the-clock service.
For a booked pickup, give your flight number, passenger count and luggage details. Ask where to meet the driver, how to recognise them and whom to call if you cannot find each other. Establish what happens after a flight delay: any flight tracking, included waiting time and possible extra charges. Written confirmation should identify the journey and its total price.
From Marrakech: plan the whole connection
To consider a coach, search Marrakech and Essaouira for your date using the Supratours timetable search. Check the offered departure, boarding point, arrival and ticket terms before paying. Our Supratours search did not confirm a departure; this does not establish that the route is unavailable. An old timetable does not establish that a journey can be booked today.
As a dated example, the official CTM search for 7 October 2026 displayed a departure from Marrakech at 08:30 and arrival in Essaouira at 11:30, a three-hour journey, from MAD 105 for one adult when checked on 4 October. This is a search result, not a booked ticket or a guaranteed fare for another date. Search again for your trip and check the final price, boarding point and baggage terms before paying. After a flight, landing time is not the time you will be ready to board a coach. Allow for arrival formalities, baggage collection and travel to the departure point on your ticket. Choose a suitable buffer and a fallback if you miss the connection. Check whether the two services are independent before assuming that an automatic transfer to a later departure is included.
Compare a ticket with a transfer quote
Compare the cost for your whole party: each person’s applicable ticket, luggage, travel to the departure point and the final journey to your accommodation. For a private transfer, ask whether the quote covers the whole vehicle or each passenger, as well as stops and cancellation terms. Neither option is presented here as always cheaper.
With children, bulky equipment or accessibility requirements, confirm the vehicle and necessary equipment before paying. If considering a rental car, check the return location, deposit, insurance and parking separately with the rental company and accommodation. Asking for a price in a message does not establish a confirmed booking.
Finish the journey and plan your return

For your return, work backwards from the reporting time required by your airline or transport operator, adding the journey and a suitable buffer. Reconfirm pickup arrangements.
